Brian has over 20 years of experience helping companies find, hire, and keep top talent. His work spans various industries, with a focus on technology, engineering, and design-driven organizations.
With a wealth of experience across the entire employee lifecycle, Brian has worked with companies of all sizes—from large organizations with 50,000+ employees to startups with fewer than 100. His time at Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Change.org, Zynga, and Vevo has equipped him with a unique perspective on the full range of employee experiences, from pre-hire to post-exit, and at every stage of a company’s growth.
Brian knows that situations like recruiting top talent in challenging conditions or managing major organizational changes often come with plenty of ambiguity. By coaching individuals, leaders, and teams through these complex transitions, he’s found that, with the right approach, anything is solvable.
Efficiency in operations, the strategic use of systems and tools, and data-driven insights are among Brian’s passions. His technical expertise has led him to guide many HR tech system selections and implementations. But he also believes that technology alone isn’t a substitute for strong talent-management strategies and skills.
Brian’s hands-on experience extends across the U.S. and Canada, with oversight of teams in other parts of the world as well. Most recently, he’s been immersed in the fast-paced talent landscape of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Thanks to his diverse experiences, Brian understands that successful teams are built on having the right people with the right skills and backgrounds. He also knows that every team and every company is unique.
In his view, a great talent strategy isn’t one-size-fits-all. But by leveraging current talent insights, organizations can gain valuable foresight, and a winning talent strategy becomes much clearer. Link
